Welcome Founded in 1917, the Kiwanis Club of Jackson has a long history of helping children and our community and of having fun. The club gives back about $80,000 each year, whether it be providing children with shoes and boots, renovating the Kiwanis Park or planting hundreds of flags at local homes and businesses. Does that interest you? Attend a club meeting or become a member. Weekly luncheon meetings are Friday at noon at Cascades Manor House, 1970 Kibby Road in Jackson. You will be welcomed like an old friend.
And that’s what you will become once you join-an old friend who makes a difference. Featured Member Beth Philo is this month's featured member. She's involved in many local non-profits and loves to camp, tell stories and spend time with her family. Read more about why Beth joined Kiwanis to help her career. Making a Difference New club member Barry Malek is already making a difference. Barry and several others volunteered at the Jackson Community Food Pantry as part of Kiwanis One Day on April 17. Their efforts helped feed 500 people. This is just another way that the Kiwanis Club of Jackson is making a difference. Join the conversation:
