Flag Project
A new project for 2007. The Kiwanis Club of Jackson
will line your street on the five major flag-waving holidays each year.
When you sign up for our flag program, the Kiwanis Club will insert a PVC
plastic sleeve with a cap in the ground near your front curb. On each of
the five holidays, we will set a 3' x 5' flag on a 10' pole in the sleeve.
The flag remains the property of the Kiwanis Club. We will set out the
flag, pick it up, and store it for you. You get to enjoy being part of a
neighborhood filled with patriotic color.
Participation costs only $30 per year. For
more information, please call Lee Zimmerman at 784-5200 and leave a message.

Newspaper Sale
It is difficult to identify who established the yearly newspaper sale.
The original few men who were responsible for the formation of the club
also held the first sale in 1917. This sale has been the strongest of
the many fund raising activities of the club. Each year, for 85 years,
those members who could shivered their way to successful drives. Look
for the Kiwanians in December.
